Description: Glass Fiber Lacing Tape

Details: Flat braided tape manufactured from 100% continuous filament Teflon-coated fiberglass yarn with a specially formulated synthetic elastomer finish that improves knot holding and tying characteristics. Minimum tensile strength of 75 pounds with maximum 5% elongation. The material meets ASTM-E595 outgassing requirements and aerospace specifications including A-A-52083-C-3 and formerly MIL-T-43435B Type IV Size 3. Base yarn maintains stability to 800 degrees Fahrenheit. Used for bundling and securing wiring harnesses, cables, and components in aerospace electrical and equipment installations.
