Details: Self-fusing silicone rubber tape meeting military specification AA-59163 for electrical insulation and wire protection in aircraft systems. The 1.00-inch-wide tape with 0.030-inch thickness provides dielectric strength of 400 volts per mil and operates continuously from minus 60 degrees Celsius to plus 260 degrees Celsius. When stretched and wrapped around cables, connectors, and hoses, the tape fuses to itself to create a waterproof, flame-resistant seal without relying on pressure-sensitive adhesive. This material is approved for critical electrical installations in aerospace compartments.
