Details: Self-fusing silicone rubber electrical insulation tape designed for protecting wires, cables, and hoses in high-temperature aircraft environments. This Class 1 tape operates continuously from -60°C to +260°C (-76°F to +500°F) and provides dielectric strength of 400 volts per mil at 365°F. The tape self-bonds to itself and compatible sleeves, creating waterproof and gas-tight insulation. It meets federal flammability requirements including 14 CFR 25.853(a) vertical flame tests and is used for cable splicing, thermal protection, and electrical insulation in aerospace wiring systems.
