Ultra-lightweight melamine open-cell foam approved to BMS8-385 Type 6, Grade 2, designed for acoustic and thermal insulation in aircraft, helicopters, and aerospace structures. Offers excellent sound absorption, minimal smoke generation upon burning, and meets strict FAR 25.856(a) flammability requirements. Available without adhesive for application where separate bonding methods are preferred or required.
